The Imperial Line is an archival historical and memorial project: a tourist route around the memorable places of Perm associated with the representatives of the Imperial House of Romanov.

The route reveals the connection of the Imperial House of Romanov with Perm in the descriptions of the preserved city sights. Each point tells not only about the visit of every High-Ranking Person to our city, but also about the circumstances surrounding the visit, about how the Imperial family lived and preserved the high traditions of piety, about other members of the Imperial family, statesmen and benefactors.

The route was developed with the blessing of His Eminence Methodius, Metropolitan of Perm and Kungur, together with the Perm Region Ministry of Culture, and with the support of the Elisabethan and Sergius Educational Society.

The project material was prepared by the Perm State Archive of Socio-Political History.
